Update

I just wanted to post a quick update along with a thank you for your prayers, texts, and love.

Charles had the scope today. They found that the tumor in his stomach or the ulcer that rests on top of it is slowly bleeding. A clot is forming (which is good news) but the likelihood it will bleed again is high.

With this as the case, we face the possibility of needing to surgically remove the tumor. While this in no way would cure the cancer, it would eliminate the possibility of the tumor rupturing.

Please join with us in praying for the Lord's guidance, supernatural wisdom and skill for the doctors, and provision of all of our needs. Please also pray for renewed strength and hope and encouragement as today has left us discouraged and just plain tired.

Philippians 3: 7-11

7 But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.
